Crisis Communication: Leading When Things Go Wrong

Programme Overview

One of a leader’s most critical responsibilities is effectively communicating during times of crisis. However, it is easy to overlook the importance of this leadership skill, which we often take for granted. We tend to assume that a leader’s success is indicative of their communication abilities.

While we may associate communication with public speaking, negotiation, or the ability to engage in informal conversations across diverse contexts, crisis communication – where complexity and uncertainty are heightened – demands a different level of proficiency and is equally, if not more, essential.
